Jennifer Hughes Cooner brings a deep-rooted commitment to service and community, shaped by a lifetime in the Lowcountry. With nearly eight years of experience in the insurance industry, Jennifer founded Cooner Insurance Agency to provide personalized, comprehensive health insurance solutions. Recognized annually by CMS for outstanding client enrollment assistance, Jennifer has quickly become a respected figure in the Health Insurance and Medicare industry.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, summa cum laude, Jennifer combines academic excellence with practical expertise. The Cooner family has a rich history of service, exemplified by Jennifer’s dedication to community involvement and leadership. She also actively volunteers with the National Association of Business Insurance Professionals and supports NABIP's advocacy for agents and clients alike.

Beyond work, Jennifer enjoys being on the water, whether boating with family or relaxing at the beach with a good book. A passionate DIY enthusiast, she loves taking on new projects around the house. Together with her husband, TC, and their dog, Coco, they form the heart of the Cooner Insurance Agency.

Timothy "TC" Cooner

Agency Co-Owner / Business Development

Timothy “TC” Cooner brings a deep passion for helping others and fostering meaningful connections to the Cooner Insurance Agency. Hailing from small town in South Carolina, TC was profoundly influenced by his father, the late Timothy Cooner Sr., because of his work in his community as the mayor of Branchville, SC. This early exposure to the challenges faced by people in small communities shaped TC’s commitment to service and community impact.

A proud graduate of The Citadel, the Military College of the South, TC has applied his education and work ethic across various roles in the engineering and construction fields. At Cooner Insurance Agency, he will focus on strategic partnerships that drive business growth and positively impact the community. His expertise in networking has made him an invaluable asset to the agency’s success.



Outside of work, TC enjoys spending time with family & friends, being on the water, cheering for the Bulldogs, or relaxing with his wife, Jennifer. His dedication to both his professional and personal life makes him a key part of the Cooner Insurance Agency team.
